In my original post on Dressing Up the TPT Quote Area , I talked about how to add just one image to the area. In Part 2, I'm going to give you some directions for adding several images to your quote area that will rotate. First,  create your images  that you would like to add to your quote area. The size should be about 450 pixels by 150 pixels (1.5 inches by 0.5 inches at 300 ppi ). **If you are using Powerpoint, see directions below.** The matching background gray color is #f1f1f1. I chose to start with 3 images but will probably add a couple more. Here are my images: Upload the images to an online GIF maker. I used  GIFMaker.me . ☞ In GIFMaker.me, click the UPLOAD IMAGES button and choose your images. ☞   On the control panel, be sure your size is set to 100%. Mine is 100% and 450 px by 150 px as that is the size I used. ☞   Also on the control panel, you will set the speed. Mine is set at 5000 milliseconds (5 seconds).  You don't want it too slow or to......
In your quote area (the gray box beside your logo), you can do several things. You can: ✍  put a quote ✍  put a link to your blog, Pinterest, FB, etc {Just be aware that doing this does mean that potential buyers leave your store.) ✍  put an image ✍  put multiple images into a GIF Today I'm going to talk about putting in an image - just one photo that doesn't move. First, create an image that you would like to add to your quote area and upload it to a draft blog post in Blogger, a secret board on Pinterest, or a photo site such as Flickr or Tinypic. The size should be about 450 pixels by 150 pixels (1.5 inches by 0.5 inches at 300 ppi). The matching background gray color is #f1f1f1. Go to My Account Click on Store Profile and then Edit Change or add in the Personal Quote box ☞  From your photo site you want the code that is your image. It should start with https and end with jpg. In Flickr, you will have to pull it out of the Embed Code and for Photoshop it is ......

Many teachers make resources to use in their classroom. I know as a Special Education Resource teacher, I was always creating things for my students due to lack of curriculum, supplies, and just to meet their needs. Now it's time to take those created resources and get them ready to sell. Here are some things to think about before you post an item to sell. 1) Does your product contain original content? You cannot sell a worksheet that you've downloaded from the internet. You cannot retype the workbook page and call it yours. You cannot retype a passage and call it yours. I've created learning centers for my students. I would take a worksheet or workbook page and rewrite the information on cute, themed cards. That was okay as I was just using it in my classroom. I cannot turn around and type it up on cute, themed cards to sell. It wasn't my original content. You need to write your own reading passages, create your own math problems, or write your own social studies ques......
February has come and gone. It's hard to believe it is already March 1st. Hopefully, spring is just around the corner. The first day of the month for me is a day spent charting data and thinking over the previous month. I have a routine that I follow and thought I'd share it. I'm always tweaking my routine, but here is what I am currently doing. I will start by saying that I LOVE data. I track a lot of data. That doesn't mean you have to track everything I mention, but I do suggest taking a look at your numbers. I don't suggest you track numbers you aren't going to look at just to be tracking something. So what do I track? ✎ Amount earned daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly ✎ Average $ Earned Daily/Monthly ✎ Average Number of Products Sold Daily/Monthly ✎ Number of TPT Followers/Votes/Overall Rank/State Rank ✎ Number of Followers on my blog, FB, IG, Google+, each Pinterest board I have for TPT ✎ Number of Products ✎ Number of Each Product Sold Each Month ✎ Num......
